Hello and thank you for visiting us. Let me introduce myself.

My name is Alex Lorsung and I am the owner/operator of Lead the Way Tree services. We provide tree services to Waterloo, Cedar Falls, and surrounding areas of the Cedar Valley in Iowa. Over the years I have developed a passion for tree work, I am no stranger to hard work, and I look forward to new challenges and learning something new every day.

I am a husband and a father of six wonderful children. As a former enlisted member of the 75th Ranger Regiment with five deployments I am no stranger to hard work and challenges. “Lead The Way” is derived from the motto of the Army Rangers: “Rangers Lead the Way!”. When a Ranger receives a mission, he vows to “fight on to the Ranger objective and complete the mission”. My objective at Lead the Way Tree Services is to create a professional and friendly tree service that truly serves our customers. Our definition of “serving” is to create a pleasing experience that leaves our customers completely satisfied, happy, and more knowledgeable about their trees than when we arrived.
