Bookamer Drilling is 4th generation water well drillers for our beloved home county of Crawford. Great Grandpa started with a wooden rig with rope. Grandfather, Max Hickernell, then saw many changes in the drilling industry and served our county for over 50 years. Father, Tom Bookamer, learning the trade from Max, continued the knowledge of our unique area and a desire to share it’s greatest treasure, good water, to his sons. Tom and Jess are now at the helm of the drilling business, with Dad, Tom, helping still. Our area’s water is one of it’s greatest treasures and our drilling practices continually have nature’s sustainability in mind. Our motto is our belief, “Working with Nature, For a Better Tomorrow.” We must consider our tomorrows, in all our decisions of today.
